NGalloway, Gedling Borough Council, EMPO and DASH are hosting an event at the St Georges Centre, 91 Victoria Rd, Netherfield, Nottingham NG4 2NN on 26th September 2018 6pm-8:30pm.

Selective licensing has brought utter frustration and misunderstanding onto landlords and fear amongst tenants that rents may go up but at its core the only real difference between a licensing designation and an area that is not designated is that you are compelled to “Proactively manage your tenancies”

In order to tackle anti-social behaviour, poor property conditions, low housing demand, migration, deprivation and crime there needs to be ownership in the community and a willingness to work together.

We believe that this responsibility is on all of us as a community and landlords, tenants and the local authority are a crucial part of the solution. In designated areas landlords are now required to manage their tenancies with action plans.

NGalloway are presenting at the St Georges centre examples of antisocial behaviour, poor property conditions and non-payment of rent and how we have used social cohesion to solve these problems.

We will show you what is required to pro-actively manage your tenancies and how the new conditions will have an impact on landlords and tenants.

Selective Licensing comes to Netherfield, Gedling on 1st October 2018
